Winter In New York
Winter in New York City is all about food delivery bicycles stuck in the snow. It’s about streets that look as peaceful as scenes from postcards.
The t-shirt, I never really got into it that much. Of course I owned and wore them, but I never enjoyed them. T-shirts were “utility garments,” a layer you wore over your bra because you had to. T-shirts with logos or sayings, I certainly wasn’t interested in those.
Today the t-shirts coming back to my wardrobe.
Yes, it’s still utilitarian but now that’s the point.
A nice white t-shirt, like the one I’ve twisted up here, can serve as a base layer for a simple blazer and look chic. If you need more “base,” you can wear a long-sleeved t-shirt under the short-sleeved one.
Even pictures, logos, and sayings no longer scare me. I really like this one, that also comes in white, from Emerson Fry.
T-shirts are everywhere, you can pick them up for $5 at a thrift store, and that’s sustainability that you can feel good about.
The people at M.Gemi are having a sale and it’s a good one! In this cold and snow, these “fur-lined” boots are looking very nice.
“We mature with damage, not with the years.”
I read this in a tweet today and it really struck me, it was posted with a picture of Angelina Jolie.
It reminded me of this.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light get’s in.
